Unisex mustard cagoule/water-repellent fisherman's jacket from independent UK brand Yarmouth Oilskins, featuring waxed fabric, three-piece hood and zip closure. With a design taken directly from Yarmouth Oilskin's archive, this hooded smock harks right back to original and bona fide fishermen's workwear, and still carries a beautiful authentic feel to it. It's design is elegant but no-nonsense, practical yet stylish, and simple, reassuring. With a soft tumbled appearance of natural cotton, the fabric has a natural patina that can be topped up to maintain water-repellent properties with wax spray, a bit like a Barbour or other wax jacket. Built to run and run, this is the new Barbour jacket: a bit less country-fied, a bit more authentic, a bit closer to the workwear aesthetic.
