Regent - 'Denman II' Oxford Brogue - Almond Grain Leather

The Denman II is one of our oldest shoes — kept in the collection because it was the favourite of Mike Regent, Jason's father, and it has been made continuously ever since. Some things earn their place.

A round-toed brogue in almond grained country calf leather, the detailing is deliberately wide allowing you to wear a thicker pair of socks in the country. The leather is strong and waxed, and will age beautifully. It can also be rewaxed to restore its finish. The almond colour has a natural warmth to it, sitting close to the classic orange stitch of a good pair of jeans — it works with denim as naturally as it does with tweed.

Built on a wider G last for a generous, comfortable fit, the Denman II is soled with Dainite rubber — the same studded sole trusted by the Royal Marines. On the floor it reads as a smart shoe; underfoot it grips like it means it, handles wet ground with ease, and sheds dirt rather than holding it. A leather insole adds comfort from the first wear.
