The Goodwood Revival this year is on from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th September, a celebration of historic motorsport and aviation and the fashions of every era that is going from strength to strength. The great mix of authentic period outfits worn by visitors helps in creating this unique event where you feel as if you are stepping back in time travelling through the 70's back to the 20's and 30's. Regent are busy preparing to return to The Goodwood Revival for their fourth year, where they will have a stand in the Over-The-Road area. This year Regent will be joined by Sticky Toffee Jazz on stand 325, Sandy will be performing songs from her sophisticated jazz and swing repertoire. As well as planning entertainment for our stand Regent have been busy designing and creating made-to-measure outfits for visitors ahead of this years show.
One of these outfits will be a made-to-measure two piece tweed suit for Stephen, of Thomas Dainty Brogue Trader. Using a tweed supplied by Hunters of Brora, Regent will tailor a suit that will see Stephen fit in with the vintage theme whilst also being suitable for day-to-day wear.
The tweed, a 500g cloth woven in Scotland from pure new wool has been designed by Hunters of Brora based on an original design dating back to 1901. The cloth has been modernised with the use of some new colours, inspired by those found on the far north coast of Scotland. For a larger view of the tweed click on the image below.
Look out for Stephen at The Goodwood Revival in his new made-to-measure suit on the Thomas Dainty Brogue Trader stand and come and say hello to Jason and Will on the Regent stand whilst listening to the dulcet tones of Sticky Toffee Jazz.
